PRE CROP CHALLENGE

Hi Ladies

Here is your pre crop challenge, it leaves lots of scope to show off your individual style

You must create a layout using:

1) at least 1 of each of the following, CIRCLE, SQUARE & TRIANGLE
2) more than 1 photo
3) hand written journaling

Can't wait to see what you get up to.

OCTOBER 2008 Crop

I had a great October crop, Here are this months Raffle winners! As you can see our Raffle had a Thickers theme to it this month. If you in the mood to be Naughty then these ladies are the ones to sit with, Shona and Liz the Naughty Sisters.
Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and being productive.
It was also great to welcome, newcomers, Mo and Amelia, What lovely ladies, I look forward to seeing you next month.
I have to confess I am like a little Kiddy about next crop, it is going to be so much fun.

LAST CROP OF THE YEAR

Ok so we had a bit of confusion about our Christmas crop, we have the results in and the most popular day was...........

NOVEMBER 29th

It was the most popular by a massive 10 people, so far we have 24 people booked in for this crop.

There are a few changes to this crop. It will be for 8.5 hours, and will cost £8. The reson for the price increase is to cover the party nibbles and lots of games with Prizes, some direct from the USA ( Thanks to Jane xx), We shall be giving you sneaky hints between now and the day.

BRILLIANT DAY!!!

What a Brilliant Day, there was about 18 of us today and I had such fun, good laughs and I even got 4 lo's completed, I missed some of our regulars and hope to see them next month.

I want to say a huge Welcome!! to Vanessa our lovely newbie, who started with us yesterday and who is due to have her baby next month, so I am hoping that Vanessa and her Friend Rhoda, who has just had her baby, congratulations Rhoda, will both be joining us more often after Christmas.

It's that time again!!!

This Saturday 2oth September is our next crop, we have at least 1 new starter this month and I am coming with my trusty camera so I can get some more recent shots of the crop.

to Lori Laing a founder member of our crop and a member of our Teaching team, for her hard work and fantastic class at the last crop.

Above is the LO I achieved by taking Lori's class and I am going to ask nicely if a few other member could let me have pictures of what they achieved on the day, as I forgot my camera.

Thanks also to Jane who arranges our classes and is putting in so much time and effort to co-ordinate and teach herself.

Our Latest Crop TOY!

It arrived this morning!!!

We as a crop are now the proud owners of a crop-a-dile 2 BIG BITE!

YIPPEEEE!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
OK I am a tad over excited but I bought myself a pack of the Designer Grommlets (Just to test it of course!) lol and it looks like so much fun, I have not yet dared to try it out but I am sure I will soon.

If we keep getting new gadgets at this rate I will need a trailer for crop day LOL As if I don.t already LOL

Look out for several emails tonight, 1 with next months class and the other with important info regarding a new member who is joining us this month.

Jane's YUMMY!! tag book class

I wanted to post a few pictures of Jane's Gorgeous Tag book, now that the exhibition is over mum and I are going to have fun doing this. I had fantastic feedback from all the ladies who took the class on the day, I can't wait to do mine now.

I am looking forward to June already, I am waiting to hear from Brenda about her class for this month, which is going to be an acetate covered Beer Matt minibook using a Bind it all. I will email you all with the details as soon as I hear.

WOW What a MEGA Crop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!! What a brilliant day, I loved every minute of it, even if I did seem a little stressed at the start.

A big thanks to everyone for making it the day it was and a Huge thanks to Angie (mum) who fed us well and entertained us too.

I have not laughed and relaxed and enjoyed anything as much in a long time.

A massive congrats. to Ali, who on her first crop with us won the Sketch competition. Well done it was a gorgeous layout, I cannot believe I don't have a picture of it but I will get one.

Well done to Helen my new Co-organiser for winning Boffin of the day getting the winnning score of 17 in the crop quiz, after a tie breaker price is right question against Lori.

Thank you so much to Jane who is not only our new class co-ordinator for the crop but also taught a fantastic minibook class pictures of which I will be putting up later.

Thanks again to all of you for making it such a fantastic day and also for enduring my first ever class.

MEGA CROP TIME

It's time for the big one

We open our doors at 9.30 Saturday morning

10am approx. Breakfast will be served

11am for those attending,will be Janes minibook class

1pm the raffle and voting on the sketch challenge

1.30 lunch

2pm My lo class

4pm onwards Scrapping and card making to your hearts content

6pm we have a quiz for those still with us

7pm we order take away for anyone who fancies it.

So thats general plan for the day, I hope you are all lookinf forward to it, I know I am!!

OUR CROP Sat 19th April 2008

What a great day ladies, what a great turn out, I think that is the most of us that have been together at one time and it made for a fab day.

Here are some pictures from our Day of creativity.

And here we have Annette and Judith, who got lost on the way here but when they made it they got straight down to creating. We were so busy we had to get another table out, Just incase anyone thought it was the equivalent of a naughty step. LOL . It was great to have Annette's sister Judith join us for this crop and she is now our out of town member and we hope she comes back to crop when she is visiting Annette again.

Everyone seems to be having a great day, I have just realised that Shona and Liz always have the end table, what do they know that I don't?

2 Weeks till crop time!

It sounds like it will be quite a busy one this month which will be great. Helen where are you? I have not heard from Helen since before last crop when she was away at the ATDML retreat, has anyone else heard from her?

Speaking of Retreats I will be speaking to everyone who has been to retreats in the last 6 months and asking if they can do reviews for us which I can put up here on our blog.

Crop Day!! What a great fun day, we missed some of our regulars today but I hope you are all having a great time and I can't wait to hear about it. Saying that we had a chatty and productive day, great fun all round.

12 Hour MEGA CROP

I have confirmed the date for our 12 hour mega crop as being Sat. 17th May and I can also tell tell you I will be doing a lo class YIKES!! for anyone who wants to take part and I will also be asking someone to do a minibook class aswell, and there will be a sketch challenge sent out for you to do and bring on the day. If not everyone is taking part in the classes we will use the smaller hall for classes so everyone else can keep cropping.
